LTs dont delete cats. You just need a shorter mid pipe, which you can get catted or un-catted

3. What is more efficient for gas mileage. Keeping the EGR or deleting it?
1. What code are you getting? Do you have cats or no?

2. I doubt anyone has done side by side testing but the gains are probally the same +- 1 hp(which could easily be blamed on many different things).

3. Keeping it. I had mine out for a month or so and it drank the gas, like 230 miles to the tank! The EGR is disabled at WOT anyways, so it in the best intrest to keep it.

I still have cats, but they may be going bad soon anyways. It's hard to tell since I cleaned the radiator, thus cleaning out the stop leak that was clogging the blown head gasket. Cats may have gotten wet in the process. We haven't checked since we rebuilt the top end.

The head gasket is one of many problems that I have since discovered that the previous 2 owners decided to neglect. Along with the lack of radiator fluid change, and the absurd need for aftermarket cruise control in a big city...
