Long tubes are THE ONLY THING that will improve performance.

I have one of the last MAC catted h-pipes ever made, jsut order their O/R h-pipe and 2 converters and have them welded in, it's the easiest thing to do, it'll look better, and it shoulde fit great.

Just go with the o/r x. I live in Orlando, and I have an o/r x and never been pulled over. I'm not saying gt is louder than a v6, but it probably is. The 2v's are a little louder and in my opinion sound better, but I don't see why someone would check the cats, especially on a v6. Especially if you don't have dual exhaust! I say you go with the o/r x mac's. Or the h's. If you really really want cats, look into the shops around you. Some of the guys at the shops can work wonders, and really know what they're doing.
