Default electric odometer

My electric (digital) odometer is not working properly. It goes off at times however its still calculating my mileage. I have a 2001 standard Mustang. What do I need to do to fix this?

Any suggestions and information is appreciated.

Thank You

Mine does the same thing. I pulled part of the console out, and all the wires are attached and working properly.

I said '**** it'. Update if you figure it out. I'd like to know.

I was told to check and replace( if needed) the fuse for the instrument cluster. If that doesn't work I have to take it to a mechanic to test my electrical sensor.
