Console suggestions?
i think smoked plexi a 4 inch neon with the emblem on it would look way sicker i hate anything chrome or billet are cars are mustangs not srappers on 22s. and if you guys were smart you would hook up the lights to the 12v accersorry plug because it only has power when key is on thats how i wired up my pillar guages in myy first sn95
the way its wired now it comes on when the headlights or running lights are on. so they come on with the rest of the interior lights.
why would that be smarter? then they are on all the time, your only gonna realy see it at night. why waste bulbs by having them on all the time?

if they're LEDs they're not going to burn out...
but i like the gauge dimmer idea..
I'm a robotics mentor for a technology center's robotics team.. we made our robot user interface out of diamond plate, and gave it a sand blasted plexy top... then i purchased 12" neon lights (2 red, 2 blue (team colors)).. so that depending on which team were on, we can flip on the red (making a red controller panel) or the blue...
lemme see if i can find some pictures

sadly the only picture i can find of the new controller was at competition... and its not even really of the controller...
you can see it in the picture, one of the students is holding it on its side (moron).. it had the red neons on at the time so you can see how the sand blasted back defuses the light.
the extra picture is a picture of the original controller (2006) before it was made thinner (form about 4.5" to about 2") and the plexy top made (2008)..
