any idea on where i can buy a stock v6 engine block and only the block????....im gettin thoughts on building a new engine seeing that my current stang has 150,000 miles on it i feel it be better to do that rather than put parts on my current one because im unsure if it could handle it....any thoughts??

Lots of junkyards can get them for you. I might even sell one of my extras if you ask nice and are willing to pay shipping.

find a v6 f150 pull the motor, strip it down to the block/crank, and get the machine work done and start from there

Used it the only way to find a block.

He's suggesting the F150 short block because it has a longer stroke to it (4.2 over the 3.8), resulting in more power and a better platform to build on from a performance stand point.

ok....so i get that whole point but what confuses me is the point in which whether or not i would then have to buy the other parts that pertain to the 4.2 rather than the 3.8 to build upon

seasoned blocks are always better. they are done with core shift. both 3.8 and 4.2 are the same block but have different rotating assemblies. i suggest going to 4.2. the added torque is a serious plus
