problem shifting

my first and reverse gears are sticking pretty bad at times, is there anyone to fix this? or is a rebuild inevitable

Has it just started doing it? I use to drive a '97 5spd Ranger, and it does it part of the time. I always thought it was just something lining up correctly at first...

i dont remember it ever happening, sometimes it just wont go into first or reverse i have to force it hard
