the "garden hose" is fine its just a funny lookin hose to use, but wont hurt anything and if the car is running fine with out the PCV then i guess leave it, but they are put on the car for a reason (to get rid of oil vapors in the engine) but if you have a friend thatll hook it up for you and knows wat he is doing id let him do that, but ull car will be fine without it for now

and is that a pen cap in there?

im sure you can find sumthing a lil better then that to plug that up at least get a black one

Props on asking about something you didn't understand. Impressive for a newer/younger owner.

Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you about the garden hose. If you want to clean up the sanford & son PCV delete, you can get this http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index...d=21&parent=26

btw... Congrats on the car and welcome to the forums.

Basically you can keep it and your car will work fine but if you want you can put it back to orig condition and change that other hose while your at it. It will make you look hick if you start showing off your car to people. Also if you want to do a easy mod to your car you can do the IAC gasket mod. Its in one of the threads I believe. Search it up. It will make your car idle at just over 500 rpms in an automatic. Well thats where my car idles anyways.

I've seen the threads about this before....but why do it? what does it accomplish?
