hey im new to cars im 16 and i just got my car (2002 v6 mustang)
please tell me if im missing a tube here

Yes, it goes to into the valve cover on that side where the circle thingy is, I think the proper term is the PCV.

um yeah its for the pcv, is there a pcv valve on your other valve cover?

3/8" tube will fix that... I think. Fix the garden hose while you're at it... lol.

looks like the previous owner did a PCV delete as well as plugging up the breather nipple on the intake tract. if it runs right then don't worry about it and hope your state doesn't do a visual emissions inspection and realizes the PCV delete.

the delete is popular for 99-01 cars which had poor oil baffles in the valve covers and allowed excess oil to be sucked up into the intake
