Default Swapping Fuel Injectors

Does anyone have a step-by step guide to changing out fuel injectors on a 2000 V6 Mustang? Images would be helpful as well. I have the new injectors and the plenum gasket.

take off vacume lines on upper intake, then remove the upper intake. then use screwdriver to remove C clips, then pull 'em out. undo what you did.

just look at what is needed to get to them. if somthings in the way, take it off or move it.

why do you need to?
it wont help HP any...

you'll need a retune if they're diff sizes.
and your stock ones are 21# which is good for about 250hp.

One of the injectors has gone bad, since I'm swapping one out I might as well do all 6 since the vehicle has 185K on it....

Do you have a diagram on how to do it or where I can go to get a diagram? I work better with pictures and my Haynes manual doesn't help worth a crap.

Did you buy new injectors? I can get you a flow matched set of stockers for like $100

its not really THAT bad.

just gotta make sure, the stuff u take off gets put back on.

a good way to learn is jump right in...forget the pictures.

I've swapped 'em 3-4 times.

key is to: either note which line/bolt goes where. then double and triple check lines/bolts.

now get to it!

I can take pictures to know what goes where, but is it the entire top part of the engine that's the plenum, where the intake goes to? Also, how many screws are involved in getting the cover off?
