Default Turn signal problems

Hello, I have an 04 V6. About a month ago I started having some problems with the turn signals and break lights not going on. When I would put the turn signal on it would flash on and off on the dash very fast and most of the time wouldn't flash on the rear tail lights. The break lights wouldn't work either for the most part. The thing is that it was very consistent. Sometimes the breaks lights and turn signals would be fine. sometimes one would just work. I checked all the fusses and bulbs and everything was ok. I finally brought it in to get it checked out. The shop said it was the turn signal switch (which seemed to be the likely cause). Instead of having the shop rape me and take my money I decided to get a used one off a parts car. (it would have been around 300 for parts and install) I installed it and it has worked fine for weeks but just the other day it started up again. currently it is just the right blinker that doesn't work. But the thing is when i tilt the steering wheel up just a bit it works perfectly fine. As long as the steering wheel isn't at its lowest setting it isn't a problem. I prefer to drive with the wheel all the way down and it doesn't seem like it would be a problem with the switch because it works fine in different positions. Any idea what it could be? Its a very annoying problem.

top off your blinker fluid with the good halagon stuff, dont use the cheap dino stuff

you replaced your stock broken part (btw, its most fords, not just stangs) with a used part, your cars not the only one that has problems. replace it with a NEW switch,

im pretty sure that the center most bulbs arent supposed to light up, they only come on when your headlights are on. I have on 03 though but i doubt ford changed it for your model. and for your right blinker blinking fast, one of your turn signal is probably burned out. hope this helps
