I started trying to fix the $100 mustang today. Replaced the battery, oil filter, oil, air filter, and all the plugs. It still wont start. It turns, and makes the sounds as it should trying to turn over, but it never roars to life. I think the coil may be the next thing i replace. Im gonna pull the #1 plug and see if its sparking at all first though. Anyone else have any suggestions on what to try? Also, where are all the dang mustang parts at? Is there a boreout kit for the V6, to make it a bit bigger, maybe up toa 4.0?

Check your fuel line to see if it has pressure. Its a little valve looking thing on the fuel rail. take the cap off and press the valve with a small srewdriver or someohting and see if fuel sprays out. If it doesn't then you fule pump is out. Next check the connections around the Throttel body and make sure they are all connected. Follow arounf the upper intake and make sure the conection there is connected. If that doesn't work check the spark like you wanted to do. Has your car overheated? If so how bad? You can have valve leak.
