Doesn't affect horsepower incase you didn't know though, just throwin it out there but will make it faster as for handling, new springs/shocks would impove it.

not 100% true. It will make the car faster off the line, but will run out of gear quicker giving you a lower top end. Now if you are planning on doing drag racing with it this is a very good mod. If you are road racing with it then it would depend on the track.

higher gears increase acceleration, decrease top speed. and for handling go to stangsuspension.com and get stuff from there

Alright I don't think hes seriously drag or track racing but yes thanks for correcting me, will feel much faster off the line because it gets you into the powerband faster, but it does technically lower the top speed although some people have told me it pulls faster through all gears no matter what, until the limiter.

It will make it faster acceleration wise. Say like a 3.73 is the common gear to go with. You will notice the difference big time. As for HP gain no just quicker. If you daily drive it I wouldnt recommend anything over 3.73

I gear has nothing to do with the powerband. It makes you accelerate faster because the ratio between the drive shaft and rear wheels is changed, so you get the rear wheels moving faster.
