Engine Coolant
I am curious what type of coolant you all use in your mustangs. I have always used Peak Longlife and been happy with it, but I never did much research into the differences between the different coolants so I am not sure if I am getting the biggest bang for my buck with the Peak.
Not really, runs warm but still well within an acceptable range. I have just never looked much into the different styles of coolant out there and wondered what everyones opinion was on what was the best for the money.
I just bought a 2003 and am in the process of changing all the fluids. The owner's manual says to use whatever type is listed on the overflow bottle. This sticker, if ever there, is gone. An owner's manual I downloaded says to use Ford Premium Gold. There's green stuff in it now. I called the dealer (parts) and they said to use Gold. I came across this TSB:

I've got the Gold because it's the ONLY authorized coolant for my PSD but it runs $15/gal so I'd rather use green. Ideas?

for mulepick you can run green only if you total flush the whole coolant system first that mean's no gold coolant in the system at all. they changed over the the gold coolant since it's a longer life coolant then the green.
