Ok 2000 mustang 3.8 132000 miles. There is a noise that is loud kinda like a squeel but not high piched. Its almost like a bearing that is worn out and vibrates but usually at a certain rpm. Does not do it all the time and some days not at all. Friend thinks it could be timing chain guides but I think that would be more of a slap sound or tap. Checked the top idler pulley and it seemed ok. With belt off everything seems ok as far as tightness. Sounds like its coming from water pump area.

Anyone had this before?
Any sugestions?
