thanks guys... well unfortunately her rents came and picked it up last night, so I didn't even have a chance to look at it :-( I hope she relayed the message that its a 10 dollar part, and doesn't need to go to a shop... argh.

Also not a bad idea to do a radiator flush at the same time, use some Redline Water Wetter, it works great, I use it myself.

All Water wetter really is is just a combination of soaps to break down the surface tension of water and helps keep air bubbles from being a huge problem.

Use the burp valve to fill once the system is topped off.

Run the system for a few miles watching the temp, then shut her down, let her cool and check the burp valve again.
