Programmer or Intake??
Ok. Now I already have heard it plenty... If you were looking for power why did you buy the V6. Well to get it out of the way I was just looking for a cruiser that was a convertible and I searched for a couple of months and all i could find was either v8 with wayyyy to much mileage or a v6.. so i finally landed on my 03 V6 with 50k. So anyway.. I put an exhaust system to give a better rumble to the car and now i was thinking what I should do next.. have some bills so its one or the other.. I can get the K&N intake for 200 new or I can grab the Jet Programmer for 300 new... Or I could get the K&N intake and the Jet Chip for 400.... Difference being with the programmer you have a lot of flexibility with changes that you can make whereas with the chip you get a performance tune and thats it... Like I said I am not looking for a racer or anything like that.. just tryin to make it a little quicker if i can..
Never heard anything good about the jet programmers. If you can spend $400, get an sct x3 through vmptuning and have justin tune it for you. I'm going to guess since you just watned a cruiser and it's a convertible you have an auto right? You will feel a lot more pep out of your V6 with the tuner on an auto. You will feel it way more than an intake which only gets you a few hp on average anyay.
