Default Question About Exhaust

I have an 04 Mustang V6 40th Ann. It's bone stock atm and I'm wanting to make it into a dual exhaust. I've already got my mind made up on Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow 2.25" O/O. I've really been wondering and needing some advice from someone who really knows what they're doing. Is that the right measurments and exits for the mufflers I'd need for my car?

My other question is, would I have to have 2.25" tips to fit my exhaust or could I go 2.50" in anyway?

Thanks.

2.25" will work with the stock piping. with the tips just get the 2.25" inlet and the 2.5" outlet and they should work

It's alright. I found out what I'm probably gonna do with my exhaust situation. I think I'm gonna get the Pypes Loudmouth II Kit from Americanmuscle and install it myself with a friend.
