Default "Squeaky Rack"

I have a '01 V6 mustang - all stock. Within the last 2 months I have noticed that when the steering wheel is turned (in either direction), you hear a loud, long drawn-out squeak coming from the steering rack. It doesn't make a difference if the car is running or not, rolling/driving...you hear it constantly every time the steering wheel is turned. The power steering fluid is topped off and doesn't leak. The car turns easily and there doesn't seem to be any chassis bind. Any ideas??? Thanks - Chris...

when mine started doing that it turned out the pump was seizing. remove ur belt and hand spin the pump see if its hard to turn at all in spots. it should be quite lose, and easy to turn.

"you're bringing squeaky rack"
"your car don't know how to act"
"you think it's special what's wrong yo rack"
"so turn around and take out the slack"
