yeah, i went to line up my bumper a little today and noticed that the stock air box inlet is open, so i didnt see why a CAI would make a diff being right there, besides better air, lol
thanks for the info guys, im glad i posted it before i spent so much money...if i can find a shaker cheap i might still pick it up because they do look good.
