Is it worth buying a Tuner?

Is it worth buying a Tuner?
The only mods I've done to my 2002 are a K & N filter with no air silencer and dual exhaust. It's an automatic transmition.
So what can I really expect from a tuner? Is it really going to feel like a whole different car? Or what?
I was looking at the tuners from AmericanMuscle; the first one on the list is the SCT LiveWire with a price of $569.99. Would it really be worth buying something like that?
Thanks.

yes, especially with an automatic and also especially if you plan to continue modding your car.
with the tuner you can change your shift points and firmness on your automatic, which you will definitely feel big time.

The SF3 3015 will have the same preloaded tunes and availability to store up to 3 custom tunes as the Livewire and it costs less than the Livewire. If you dont mind not having the monitor capability with the tuner, go with the SF3. you can expect about 10-15 RWHP over stock and 15-20 FT/LBS of Torque along with a modified shift pattern.
