I get 24-27 MPG and I do half/half when it comes to city and hwy driving. You really need to check that out and see whats going on...

My 95 averaged 25/32.

My wifes 96' got a little above 500 miles to a tank of gas when we moved to Missouri from California, thats 32.5 miles to the gallon with our 15.4 gallon fuel tank which is what all 94-04 Mustangs have.

Change those sensors and look for other problems.
Do full maint as well, gear fluid, trans fluid, rad flush, trans flush if you have an auto, seafoam the crankcase, vacuum and gas, fuel filter, spark plugs, plug wires if yours are damage and check all electrical and vacuum lines.

Well thats what the stats were that were released from Ford and are on car sites with the stats of the cars

Here is one, http://consumerguideauto.howstuffwor...-mustang-6.htm

Its more down to the bottom of the page. Every other site that I have looked at says 15.4.

Also when the gas light comes on its not empty, there is still 2-4 gallons left, dunno what the exact specs are on that but they dont want the gas light to turn on and the car die at the exact same time.

There cant be 2-4 gallons left when the fuel light comes on. I cant get more than 20kms when my fuel light comes on. But it doesnt come on because the sending unit stops working after 1/4 tank.

That sucks :x

Well I guess the only real way to find out is run it dry at the pump and then fill her up

Most I have gotten is about 14 gallons on the 96'.
