Flowmaster
Tomorrow I have an appointment to have the Flowmaster 40 Series put on my car... just the original, not the delta or anything. It's a single exhaust... am I making the right choice here? How much extra does it cost to get dual exhaust, anyone know?
The single exhaust system is actually a dual that splits to one pipe, making it single, but most of the piping is there to convert to dual rather easy. To have a shop custom fab up dual exhaust is around 200 bucks, give or take a few dollars, with your own mufflers.
This is probably a stupid question, but is it worth having it converted to the dual? I'm paying 125 for what i'm getting now - but I can spare a few more dollars... will it make a fairly large impact on sound?
If you can spare the extra money then there is no doubt you should get a second flowmaster and just have the dual exhaust done. And he's right above; check you tube so you can hear how some of them sound. If you get one muffler put on then you'll be dissapointed, trust me.
