Default Rough idling..

Ok.. So I ran the programmer on the stang today after I got out of work.. like i said the guy still has some finishing touches but for the most part the engine is in and running.. so i get in the car to help move it around the garage and even after running the programmer i noticed that when i put her in reverse she had that sort of rumble to her but sometimes felt like a car that was gonna die out.. just wondering if you guys think it is something that is missing or just because overall the car itself hasn't been running in a couple of months and the engine is new and needs to be broken in.. also not sure if it is common but i noticed now that i can literally tap the gas pedal and she revs up.. very very quick throttle response.. but like i said.. just a little worried with the engine feeling like she was gonna give up on me.. probably me just freaking out and worrying about nothing but just thought id ask.. thanks for any input..

Also on a side not i noticed that compared to the 3.8 that was in there this engine shakes ALOT.. and very noticeably.. when i used to have the stock engine looking at it you would not see it move a centimeter.. but this thing (as you can see in video) shakes a lot and is very noticeable.

here is a video..

What are the cam specs on it? It might just be an aggressive cam and it idles rough. It should smooth out with a dyno tune a bit, though.

might also just be cuz right now it has open headers so im just not use to that sound... but the cam was spec'd with the idea of a turbo going in down the road.. .. the cam is a compcams billet cam with 218/224.. compression ratio 8.7:1

That sounds pretty normal to me, just open headers with a strong cam on some free flowing heads.

Sounds fine, actually.

Am I alone in thinking that V6's kind of sound like boats, especially when cammed? Not bashing, just an observation...
