The Ford manual says 19lb-ft and there is a specific sequence.

It says 21lb-ft for all attaching hardware on the water pump, so I would assume that includes the studs. I'll see if I can get a good scan of the sequence out of my book some time this afternoon.

poor billy mays he gave us such great products like oxyclean the product that cleans using the power of oxygen, it doesn't matter soda, wine, blood grease it will get them all out, all for a low low price of 9.99.

sorry to hound u ryansquick6 but can u tell the sequence the studs, nuts and bolts go in?

also from my understanding the studs go through the cooling system and are in contact with water. the pump is off an the system is drained but the hole where the lowest stud was, is filled with water and i can not dry it. i tried sticking a thin piece of rag in the stud hole but it comes out soaking. any ideas?
