mac lt's
i have a chance to pic up some mac lts for 300 new, part number TF6497. my question is, i've been looking but cant find the answer, are these the ones with the egr delete or not. if they are what am i looking at as far as installing them
those better be ceramic coated for 300, and im pretty sure all the mac lts have the egr tube, just that some of them have air injection tubes and some dont. either way, you can just cap it off if you want the egr deleted
and look at about 3-5 hours install time if doing it yourself

what problems did you run into? mine was pretty straightforward, no real problems at all. the hardest part was holding the headers in place while my friend tried starting the threads on the header bolts, about 3 of them really needed some work to start the threads. but i got it all done in about 3 hours with a few small breaks
It's easier if you remove the starter and the upper intake, and well worth the effort, trust me. I think it took me an hour to put my lt's on when I was puting my heads back on, before I installed the upper intake. It takes 5 minutes to remove the upper, and it frees up a ton of room for access to the rear bolts, which is where you should start and will probably have the most issues.
