Exclamation Never ending exhaust leak P.II

Well, after replacing the EGR pipe & valve, the exhaust leak was still there. The other day it got louder suddenly and thought the header cracked. Had boyfriend take her apart, and this is what we found.

Do I need to have this welded or is there a way to press it back together? It's after the header flange - the piece that goes down to the cat... It didn't look like it was welded so I was wondering what was up with that

Welding it would probably fix it.

i think they will simply sell you a small piece of tubing and weld it on for you: them being exhaust shops etc
