a/c wont spin

Default a/c wont spin

i short belted my car for a trip to the track and when i went to put back on teh org belt the a/c would not sipn and i had to keep th shot belt on. what do you thin kthe problem is... is the compressor siezed or the clutch? how should i try to fix this?

What's not spinning the clutch or the pulley?

the pulley when i went to start it it wouldnt because the pulley was frozen up

Unplug the the connector going to the clutch. try to spin just the pulley section by hand.

You don;t need to short belt it for the a/c, just turning it off works, cuz the pulley just freespins if the clutch doesn't engage. That's why when the engine's running and the a/c is off, the front of the pulley, i.e. the clutch, just sits still.
