Cats
oh gt takeoffs, gotcha. I was hoping to get mine to the track before any new mods, but since it started snowing here today...idk. The nearest one is in NH, so I'm hoping for a warm friday so I can make a couple of passes.
im runnin a pretty stock car. mid pipe and clutch and tune. and with that im going an embarassing 16.0 at 90 mile an hour . i was running mid 15s b4 i took the cats off. hopefully this summer ill have the motor done and in the car and be running low 11s
damn 11's...after my 8.8 3.73's and intake spacer hoping for 16's maybee 15's. In the spring I'm going to get an udp, driveshaft, and hopefully some fresh rubber and by then I'm hoping to be in the 14's. Not sure where I'm going after that.
im building a nasty little blower motor. the motor im buliding is a 4.6L v6 thats runnin somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-1 i got a 4.2 crank that has been cut down to add .200'' to the stroke with 6.00'' scat H beam rods with custom forged ross pistons. i cant give the specs on the heads and cam cuz they are not done yet
what did you trap after you took the cats off? a 90 mph trap is good enough for high 14s with a good driver

im rollin throught the traps winding out third gear. and shifting at 5400. but i have been running the car on street tires and it has been spinning. ima try to get a good dry friday night and take its to the track before the end of the season with the DR,S on it and see if it makes a better pass
mustangman why is it that you never have nething nice to say. my man tim seems like a good enough driver to run his car to its full potential. hey tim buddy, how bout comming to ford fever classic this weekend and letting me rent those tires off you for a pass or so?
