stock v6s need the back pressure of the cats cutting them out will lower the low end power of the car. You also have to retune with a handheld tuner or use MIL eliminators to make it run right, and it also gets much louder that rly about sums it up

x2 to what neo and shaun said. Also if when you get inspected and they give a visual inspection to see if cats are in place you could fail the inspection. Op have you looked into getting high flow cats?

Whatever low end power you lose will be made up for with a good tune. I wouldn't take them out unless you plan to do a full exhaust (longtubes, x or h pipe, chambered mufflers), otherwise it'll sound bad. Your exhaust won't smell bad... it'll just smell like exhaust Just don't put your nose behind the tailpipe like a dumbass and you should be able to tolerate it.

cats are like condoms. USE EM. you will fail emmisions and loose back pressure. rpmoutlet.com sells the pypes hi flow cats. i bought them and had a shop weld them into my mac h pipe.

the only was i dont think u could use hi flows is if u have long tube headers cuz there is not enough room in the h pipe

False. You need high flows with lt's to pass emissions. I've seen them welded to the mac h pipe before as well.
