You should have something that looks like this http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/LRS-13776D. I know it doesnt say 99 and beyond, but that is exactialy what my 02 has in it. Obvious question, but you checked if the bulb is dead? I know there are some problems with the door jamb switch, prehaps that is bad? If you dont have that part, consider getting one. It should just plug in to your existing harnass. (I assume you mean the red coup in your sig).

Look above your melon at where the map lights are. Pop the clear cover off of it and in the middle there should be a bulb. Itll be a cylinder looking bulb. If its in there then that means its burnt out. Get a new one.

If the new one doesnt light up then spray some WD 40 in the door locks. Open and close the doors a few times so the WD 40 works its way in.
