Exclamation Need some help with what this part is called please(heating and cooling)

Friday my car car started to over heat when I got to work. Checked the coolant lvl and it was low so I added some. Problem solved....I wish. After work I jump on the freeway and 3 min in the temp gauge just starts going cfrazy, so I get off the next exit, turn in off and get out to hear water spraying. Popped the hood and found the problem but I have no clue what the correct name for this part is. So some help would be great. Its a aluminum pipe that has a hose connection on both ends. It runs right above my passanger side head, has a bracket welded to it that bolds on down where my header bolts on. It looks like something with the heater I thought, one hose goes into the firewall and the other up by the thermostat. It has a bleed vavle on top of it, ( cooling system bleeder?) but I have tried to find it and I am having no luck. starting to looks like a ford only part. It has a pin size whole in it. Thanks, and some advice would be great. I got work again on monday>< lol
