Default Driver side mirror clips

Ok, so the mirror on the driver side.. fell out. Literally, I closed the door and it fell out. Does anyone know a place to get the plastic clips that hold the mirror in or do i really have to buy a whole new mirror

as far as i know the mirror is held on by nuts... attached to bolts that are molded into the plastic of the mirror

no the plastic clips that attach the mirror, the glass part, to the motors inside the mirror housing.

yea **** dat. if you have a junkyard near by!! that shouldnt be a difficult thing to find cuz it can come off any 99-04. find one and tear it apart for just the clips and if that turns out not to be the solution they just find another and pull the whole mirrior assembly off it!

yeah to remove them the car has to be powered and i think a junkyard would object to me walking with with my jump box and wire to hot wire the car, lol better off just buying a assembly and replacing it a guess. never can be a easy... or cheap way out
