Default Getting no spark

I have a 85 lx with a 3.8 I just put in a new battery, distributor cap, and distributor rotor. Im getting electrical current through the coil and into the cap, but im not getting no current out of the cap. I just replaced the rotor. So if you can think of anything else that could be wrong with it let me know. thanks.

Make sure the electrode from the cap is making contact with the rotor, I'd say apply some di-electric grease to one side, put it on, and see if it transferred, if not, then you're not making a connection.

it's your pick up coil. my friend had that EXACT same problem with his 97 TA, popped the distributor out took it apart, replaced the pick up coil and she fired right up.

edit i just realized that i hit 97 supposed to be 87
