irs swap write up

your going to notice a complete change in ride quality . even on stock springs . what exhaust setup are you going with are you going to running stock gears or are you planning on going up a step or two ? i suggest if you have the stock rubber differential mount bushing you throw them in the trash and invest in a set of solid bushings and install a IRS differential brace . this helps a great bit with wheel hop if you dont have the cash for the derlin bushing kit

stock gears for now, the only way they'll be upgraded is to be heat treated & forged. Have to see what she's like around the track.
Can't risk killing too much top-end, though I have a feeling 3.75s might end up being the best solution.
The IRS is being completely rebuilt. Coilovers, new diff cover, new brace, sway bar, aluminum bushings, bumpsteer kit, the works. Going to cost ~ 4k assembled not including IRS cost. Wheel hop should be non-existant, as it will be a racing grade suspension when its done.
I looked at the delrin bushings but they're not as durable as I need. The aluminum kit should do the trick.
