Quick question regarding side scoops..
i was just wondering... with the stock side scoops is there any kind of opening behind it that goes into the car? i was just curious because i took the plastic piece out to see what it looked like and it looked as if it had some kind of rubber piece like the once you find that plug holes.. just wondering if there is any kind of opening that goes inside the car or if it is all flat behind it.. thanks
lol.. i know they are not functional.. i mean is there a hole that leads into the car from tehre or is it just flat... for example.. if i wanted to run a wire into the car from the vent.. didnt know if there was access into the car from there or not..
By nonfunctional, it means its just there for looks. I doubt there is something that goes into the car. Just think of it as a ricer "installing" a hood scoop on their minivan: there's really nothing meant for a ram air effect on or inside the hood, its just for looks.
This is what it looks like behind the side scoops. There is a piece of that plastic moisture barrier on the outside and on the inside is a plastic cup that holds the seat belt tensioner assembly. If you look on the pass side of my car, you can see straight thru the quarter panel as I have all the "stuff" removed.
