I'm already running a 25% what does that plus the stock 112's upper pulley get you? around 11-13psi?
And sadly i'd end up using the SSM box (even though it's huge)

Yeah I need a new hood anyway. A Jeep liberty took a huge chunk out of mine in a little "incident" few months back.

So I was looking into a 3" cowl Y2K Cobra R style hood.

Might not be enough tall enough. All depends on how fast it rises. Some have used 4 inch cowls that don't clear the SSM adaptor plate. Depends on rise.

I suppose if necessary i can have it "shortened" i know a master fabricator who can if necessary maybe take care of some of that excess height.

buy the full kit from nathan- comes with everything, and is shorter.

The 42% udp and 2.93 upper I believe give you a little extra hood clearance where it counts keeping it at 8psi.
