Default Vinyl Bumper Insert Removal?

What's the easiest way to get these little bastards out? My '04 came with silver inserts, and the "M" and "U" are already peeled out/torn off in a couple of spots, and I'd like to replace them by Mustang Week in July. Just grow a fingernail out and carefully peel it off, or maybe use some "Goo-Gone" to dissolve the adhesive? Any help is appreciated.

go to americanmuscle.com, find one of the vinyl sets, and look at the bottom for instructions or whatever. There is actually detailed instructions on how to do it. I'm not sure if it just says heat then peel but I know it's there.

+1 to heating them up. Easiest way is probably to take a hairdryer/blowdryer and just hold it on one of the letters for a couple of minutes. You should be able to just peel em off.

Goo Gone would take the paint right off.
