so i have a chance to pick up a fairly new borla stinger off a friends gt on the cheap. currently i have mac lts with mac-h pipe with weld in high flow magna flows hooked up to some flowmasters suppers 44s. i was wondering if anyone has had these on (the borla stinger) on their car? is there any sound clips maybe with these on a v6, and would there be any porformance gains or better sound. im trying to see if it would be worth getting, or is this all just in the name

 

Borla's sound great...but your performance gains will be minimal. Any exhaust will not boost your hp's much. You will be very happy with the sound improvement. Makes the car sound like it should have.

I have borla stingers on mine. I'd buy them again tomorrow.

 

i thought as much performace wise, and as much sound wise, but i got a v6, so would it still be better than what i got?

Borla's sound AWESOME on v8's, that being said, I'd stick with blowmaster, or the thrush mufflers are cheap and popular for new edge's.

 

borla's do sound great on v8's, not sure about v6's. borla makes pretty high quality stuff so if you want an exhaust that will last you longer than you ever need it to then go for it. i dont think they will sound bad on a v6, but it might not be the sound you are looking for

 

have you tried looking for videos on youtube? its all guna be on preference.
i run duals with single chamber flowmasters...i love it but alota people would say never use single chambers on a v6

 

I have borlas on my car and they sound AWESOME. Plus they eliminated the drone on the highway that I had with just X pipes. But I didnt feel any kind of performance gains.
