Adding Acetone in Fuel?!?!
#11
what do you mean the "facts are" no one has proven or disproven that a proper mixture of acetone can cause damage. yes on SOME parts a high concentration of acetone will cause damage but a ratio no higher than 1:320 should not cause damage anymore than gasoline would. gasoline and acetone are both hydrocarbon solvents, from what i've read the only people that have problems are the people that have put to high a concentration into the gas. if you want to go that route think about this as well. seafoam which most everyone on this forums use will cause damage if you pour 3 cans into a 1/2 tank of gas. but when used in the right mixture ratio is perfectly fine and helps the car.
