as the title says my speedometer and odometer in my 1994 v6 stang is not working.
my mechanic replaced the speedo gear in the trans and speedo sensor and i replaced the odometer gears in my gauge cluster and still no luck
what else could cause this do we have a speedo cable?

 

well for one in a cable drive speedo there is not a "speed sensor" like in a electric so either he said the wrong thing or he's BSing for free cash. and yes there is a drive cable from the trans to behind the speedo and they can break. if he DID in fact replace the parts he said he did that is the next piece to change.

 

well i trust my mechanic he's a family friend so i'm probably just repeating the part he replaced wrong
where can i find that cable i've tried looking online and no luck
