Default switch located on side of fuse box?

Hi! i bought a 1991 mustang the other month, and noticed it has a switch located on the side of the fuse box. i dont know if its from factory or not, but i was wondering what it was for. when i turned it on (or to the opposite position) the car wouldnt start as if i were trying to start it in drive, the brake light came on untill i released the key!! anyone know what it does? i was told it might be the fuel pump shut off switch but i dont know. the car started right away after switching it off again! Thanks!!!

Sounds like someone installed a "secret" kill switch. Sort of a poor man's security system. Like they said...DON'T MESS WITH IT!

lol, don't tell him to leave it alone. Why you ask. because you saying leave it alone makes me want him to use it to see exactly what happens. LOL.
