Or you could cut 1/2-3/4 of a coil off your stock springs for a slightly lower it without sacrificing ride quality for free.

How much money are you looking to spend? If your starting with the outside all things suggested above are great! They really help with the look and complete the car. Mods - GT rear sway makes a big diff with handling, Winstar intake gets you better power that a CAI (and looks sexier).

I'm thinking about buying the CAI, but someone pointed out to me that they thought my car was a 3.6 and not a 3.8, either way, does this matter with the CAI I get??

You have a 3.8. And I'd seriously look into saving some more money and getting the windstar swap instead, you'll get a much more noticeable increase in power over a cai.

CAIs are largely a waste remove the air silencer, or cut the snout whatever your liking, and be done. The bottle neck, per say, is the intake and heads itself on a 3.8L.

And yes, you have a 3.8L, Ford used the 2.3L from 87-93, 3.8L from 94-04, 3.9L in 04, 4.0L in 05-10, and now the 3.7L in 11+ models.

No you have to buy the wiring harness. VMPtuning has one, I'd get that and the smoked fogs of AM if I was you.
