The modification required is to have the muffler shop increase your midpipe flange size from 2.00" to 2.25", at least from the measurements I took in differences in the header flange.

The EGR tube will also fit but it will take a little bit of muscle to get it to line up correctly.
If you do this yourself, its best to connect the header side of the EGR tube first and then try to get it in place on the EGR bracket that connects to the front of the lower intake manifold.

Also if you want to go with the 94-98 stock shorty headers, I have a set of 95' stock headers for $50 as well, if you live too far away to pick these up you will have to pay shipping too.

Pulling that manifolds is pretty eas, any competent welder can fix it to where it will never happen again, probably for $50

I saw on a different thread on here that only 96-98s will work, and I'm in St. Louis, Missouri so I'm sure shipping would be a ton.

Would these work:

Have you stock one welded for $50, or find a used stock manifold for $50 at a junkyard.

With it being a Stage 1 Roush, you won't want to run LTs. They'll sit low enough to be a major issue on a daily driver. Trust me, been there, done that. I even went as far as having one of a kind custom made long tubes made and have gone back to stock.

how much did that set you back???? hahaha.

Why not just get a set of 94-98 and you wont have to worry about it ever again....

94-98 crack like the stock 99-04s do. I ended up just polishing up some stockers on my 'big build'... which will never have an issue with A/C dripping on them.

here are the 94-98 manifold, well they are practically headers but they are well worth the work for performance (not much) and looks plus a better build

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm just going to get the stock one welded since i'm on a pretty tight budget. I found a small shop that'll take it off, weld it, and put it and a new gasket back on for $175. I would try and remove it myself but I'm not that mechanically inclined
