O'Rielly's does have Motorcraft parts.
I ended up buying a Borg W. coil pack with a lifetime warranty because none of the local stores had the Motorfract pack in and it would be two days to get it.

I had to leave that day so I just used the cheapest one with a lifetime waranty.
Its worked well for almost a year now but was more expensive than the Motorcraft unit.

As for the LiveWires, they are insulated better from RFU's and whatever the hell. :P
They are a lot of money next to stockers or MSD's but they are probably the best legitimate performance plug wire out there.

Of course you could just buy the boots you need, buy some used Delphi wires from a Nascar team for cheap, put the boots on and BAM, now you have the best plug wires.

I think MSD should be able to sell the boots direct for the size the Delphi's are (8.8)

If you have an 01-04 you should be able to use them as they are provided you have three that can reach the pass side. If you mount the coil pack centrally then you wont have a problem.

I plan on picking a set up to see for myself, they are cheap as hell on ebay.

What are your thoughts on the Bosch Platinum +4 plugs? I put some in with new wires and a new coil pack a couple of days ago.

Those plugs are in my car, no gapping required. Not sure if they are the best but I have had them in for 5 years or so now and all has been good

I dont like multi tipped plugs, I worry about breakage.

I had +2's a long *** time ago and didnt notice a diff at all in MPG or power from the stock old coppers that my 75' El Camino had (Mild 350ci.)

Didnt notice anything from the Ford OE coppers in my 87' T-Bird either. (3.8L sixxer.)

100% junk / waste of money.

The Livewires also aren't that "great" ~

I bought them mainly because I'm trying to get better mileage. I filled up yesterday for the first time since putting the new plugs in so I'll do some calculating miles wise at the next fill up.

On a side note, I have thumping sound that seems to be coming from behind the glove box and center console. I thought it was the heater core so I flushed it out but it didn't help. It only does it when the car is moving not sitting still at idle. Any thoughts? Harmonic balancer maybe?

behind the glove box or center console? center console could be something wrapped around your drive shaft or something drive train related

Unfortunately that's what I'm thinking too. I'm going to put it up on jack stands this weekend and check the u-joints and the motor mounts. I have a convertible so I'm scared ****less that the drive shaft is going to come undone in the front and flip the car when I'm on the interstate.
