Default Quick Exhaust Question

So here in about 2 weeks I'm getting my exhaust done. I'm wanting to run True Duals with Thrush Mufflers. I'm just curious if this is actually possible. I know with some year mustangs you have to run an H Pipe to keep the O2 sensors.

Is this the case for a 2004 V6?

I'd really rather not have to run an H Pipe, but if I must...

tooo my knowledge im 95% sure it doesnt matter what you run y-pipe x-pipe or h-pipe.....you have 4 02 sensers 2 which are before cat and 2 which are after cat the two after cat arent even needed u can unplug them and it wont do anything but throw a check engine code but with a tuner you can just turn your rear 02s off and problem solved ive never heard u had to run a H pipe before my car was turbo'd(granted im a different year model) i was running a x pipe so yea

im 95% sure it doesnt matter what kinda midpipe u run

You can run divorced duals, but coming from someone whos has both I would say have the shop throw in a h. Shouldn't cost much more at all and sounds better.

It sounds better? I guess I've never seen it in person, but nor have I seen the True Duals with the Thrush's. I've only seen the videos on youtube of the True Dual, Thrush mufflers set up. Do I possibly have a video of your exhaust? Or maybe something that sounds relatively the same?

If you live in Springfield you can come by and listen to Aprils 96', we havnt taken the engine out yet, still working on interior and body.

Aprils 96' has a motor from a 2000 with Ported heads and intakes.
I am running the stock 96' shorty headers with a 94/95 BBK O/R X-pipe that has been modified to fit the sixxer, after that are a pair of turned down Borla's.

It sounds great.

The only exhaust vid I have right now is with no mufflers, here is the link.
