Trans. change

I have a 1994 3.8 mustang and the auto trans. is going out.What do I need to look out for to make sure i get the right one?I've come across several 1997
to 1999 v6 trns. available.

call a salvage yard and ask them what years interchange. most salvage yards that are worth a crap can tell you.
