Default Hestitation

I have a 2002 V6 Mustang. If I accelerate har, especially on the highway I get a hesitation. I took it in and had codes read and it said low fuel pressure. I replaced the filter and then the fuel pump with no change. Any ideas?

Possibly the fuel regulator? What are you getting for pressure?

FPR is electronic on new edges, and its a returnless system. Check you IAC or MAF, they may need to be cleaned.

Iac = idle air control. Its on the throttle body
Maf= mass air flow sensor, on the intake tube behind the filer

Use orielly's brand brake cleaner to clean them, make sure you remove the maf before cleaning it, and get a new gasket for the iac

the EGR valve, the hoses for the emissions system, or the throttle position sensor...? I am having the same issue... Changed the hoses, that helped a little, EGR and throttle are going in tonight. Also, check to see if you MAF sensor is clean...
