Default Window Regulator

Hey guys first off I want to say thanks for any and all help. With that said, I installed a new window regulator over the weekend, got everything put back in correctly and it went down just fine at last, but now it will not go up. When I press up I can hear it click but the motor does not move. Any ideas on what it might be or on how to fix it? Thanks again for the help.

Check for binding. Happened to me all the time... Before i replaced the door the window would slide down fine and never return I would have to take off the panel and tweak around the track near the door latch side to free it. If there is free movement check the motor connections. If everything checks out try manually putting the window up by applying 12v to the motor if it still does not move your motor is shot

Before doing all of that crap;

1. open the door
2. turn the car on
3. With the door open, hole the "up" button
4. With your free hand whack the **** out of the inner door panel about half way down, maybe 8 inches from the rear of the door. (where the window motor is)
5. If at first you don't succeed, try try again, and don't be scared, the door panel is harder to break than you think

If you give it a few solid hits and it still doesn't go up, start trouble shooting the wiring at the motor to make sure you are getting voltage

Thanks for the help, I will try and see if that works tonight. I did come across this, don't know if they have anything in common, but this morning when I tried to hit up or down on the switch for the door and nothing worked. It would take a couple of seconds for passenger window to work with either the master or passenger switch. Just thought that was weird and maybe were linked.
