Neither one is better per say. They both opperate completely differently but achieve the same thing, positive displacement, aka, boost. Both will strain a stock motor. Most people make out fine, but some have blown their motors or ran into a ton of secondary issues.

Read the tech stickies, all you could ever want to know about both are in there.

do some more research before you buy anything you dont wana buy a turbo and not know what to do with it
get a complete kit and save yourself the trouble of piecing it all together

Yeah, the worst thing you can do is buy parts you dont know what to do with or how to put it all together.

You end up selling them at a loss, losing interest in your build and pretty much just not being happy about it at all.
