Well...I'm glad I bought something.

Took the car in to get PA State Inspection...they failed it because of the headlights. The shop says "it failed on the lumen-meter". I wasn't even aware PA Inspection had a lumen requirement for headlight output. The shop wanted to charge me $85 to "clean them right up"...so I passed and will be back Tuesday when my new lights arrive.

HAHAHA that sounds like some of the biggest bull**** I ever heard! I would call the DMV and see if that true. Ive never heard of that either. Those guys are trying to rip you off. A call to the BBB should be made my friend.

I've heard of it happening, but only due to an electrical issue (loose ground wire, so the light wasn't coming on all the way).

You don't need to kill your arms cleaning them. I looked at lights for about two weeks before breaking down and using the 3M kit. Used a drilll bit with the wheel adapter that came with the kit. Very easy.

Will be interesting to see how yours look. I really like those 1 pc designs... but was going to go with BOI or American Muscle. Intstead I spend like $30 to clean them and they look great.

I used the cheap 10 dollar Turtle Wax Kit from Walmart, worked awesome, came with everything and now we actually see going to work in the morning.

Well, That's awesome you'll be "styling" at the inspection station w/your new headlights. Post some pics when all is said and done.
